This site contains a small biography on Edwin Eugene Aldrin Jr. This site is launched exactly 30 years after the launch of the most important mission of his life, the Apollo-11.
This site is meant to review the facts of the "Race into Space" that ended up outside the spotlight of most history books, hence "Mare Tenebrarum, Sea of darkness".
This site is based upon the small biography I wrote for History class in college. It does not claim to be complete or original (please see the Bibliography for the sources of this site). However, it may be of any use as a quick overview, which is the reason for publishing it on the internet.
