Tin-Tin commands More Tin-tin Setup/Settings FAQ FatalDimensions Templar clan The Pueblo site |
FAQ. 1: Why is this webpage created? Indeed, everything is already in the helpfiles of pueblo. But it takes a bit longer then with other clients to figure out how it works. Especially how to make and load tin-tin files is not that easy to start with it I think that a lot of the (new) pueblo users do not know how tin-tin works. 2: Why do you like/use pueblo? I started playing in 1999 on a mud (FD) with a telnet client, without color. Since our mud was pueblo enchanted and pueblo v2.01 was free. I gave it a try and it worked pretty good. A few months later it wasn't supported any more but since it worked nicely I didn't have a problem with that. The only function I do miss with pueblo is some kind of map maker, but I never saw a good map maker with other clients (zmud has one). (And I'm pretty picky about map makers since I cartographed a few my self manually in ASCII) 3: Is there any work in progress for these pages? Yes, first this one and the setting page have to be made better, Second, there will be minimal 2 new pages, - About make pueblo logs in pueblo code and how to make html of it. That way someone can make colored logs for webpages etc. - Hints for other builders (pictures, sounds). Mwhaha..... it is on hold for the last 2 years now. Writen at October 16 2009. On the other Templar page (see link on the main page) there are some new things. 4: Why is the name of the download file fd.txt? Well, I think that no one will call their own file fd.txt, So this file won't overwrite another one. (FD stands for fataldimensions) 5: I can only see and not download the fd.txt file? - Place your mouse on this link: fd.txt - Click with your right mouse buton. - Then you have a pop up menu, click on "save target as" (or open the file and save it with "file - save as") - Save it in the pueblo directory as fd.txt 6: Why are there no triggers (scripts/actions) allowed in FatalDimensions? (Help rule: C Scripting is allowed only for heros to stay alive: NOTHING else is allowed.) The immortals of fataldimensions want that players play their selfs. Not that they gain money and xp because they can program very well. Seccondly, most muds have a system that if you remain the same level for some time, you get more xp when you kill a mob. This is to make sure that fast levelers slow down a bit, and very slow levelers speed up a bit. If you stay online for a long time, the mud "thinks" that he/she is a very slow leveler. That isn't fair to others that don't use triggers. 7: Why may hero's stay active with triggers? A hero is someone at the highest mortal level, they don't level any more. If they want to see what the last few hours happend, they can scrol back. 8: Why a warning at the first page that using them is your own responsibility? It's just to prevent remarks like: "You caused that ...." or "I'm allowed to do that" 9: The mud doesn't allow me to use ~ in a text file for this link, can I solve this? You can use the link http://www.jovd.dse.nl/pueblo, It redirects you to the first page.
