Foreword

This book is a compilation of a lot of text and work made from 1999 to 2001.
Originally all the information is for the Templars,
but I think it is also interesting for other players.

Knowledge is power.

With <arrows> you replace with the word you want to use.
If there are 'floating hooks' then you have to type them.

Templars Command Help List.
N,W,S,E,D,U             This are directions: You go north, west, ect.
Equipment               You see what armor you wear at your body.
Inventory               You see what you have with you.
Wear <Item/all>         You wear the item at your body.(from inventory to equipment) 
Remove <Item>           You remove the item from your equipment (and it goes into your inventory)
Look <object/mob>       You look what's in your room, at the sign or look at a mob ect.
Score                   You see your status.
Help <Topic>            You get the helpfile about that topic.
 
Train <con/ect.>        In a trainroom you see what you can train, and train it.
Pract <skill/spell>     In the guildroom you can see what you can pract.
Get <Item/All>          You get the object from the floor.
Get <Item> Corpse       You get the object(s) from the corpse. 
Get <Item> <container>  You get the object(s) from the container.
Put <Item> <container>  You put the object in the container.
Compare <Item>          You look globally if the item is better.

Unlock <Direction/Item> You unlock a door or item.
Open <Direction/Item>   You open a door or item.
 
Shop Commands
Buy  <Item>             You buy the item from the shopkeeper.
Buy <Nr>*<Item>         You buy more items at once.
Sell <Item>             You sell the item to the shopkeeper.
Vall <Item>             The shopkeeper tells you what he wants to give for your object.

Combat Commands:
Consider                You look globally if it's wise to attack the mob.
Kill <Mob>              You start to attack the mob.
Wimpy <Number>          You set a automatic trigger to flee under this amount of hitpoints 
Flee                    You try to flee from combat and if successful: End battle and loos 10xp
Recall                  You try to recall and if successful end up with grum. In battle you loos 25 xp
Attack <Target>         You change your first target (in battles with more then one mob)

Cast <Spell> <Target>   You cast a spell on the target. 
Spells                  You can see what spells you have.
Skills                  You can see what skills you have.
Pract                   You can see what skills/spells you have.
Info                    You can see what groups you have at creation
Area <Level/all>        You can see what the area names are around.
Area explored           You can see how much of the area(s) you have visit
Exit                    You see the exits of the rooms, perhaps with the name.

Communication commands:
Who                     You can see who is online.
Finger <Character>      You can see how long the character is offline and information.
  
Say <Text>              You speak to everyone how is in the same room. 
Tell <Caracter>   You 'say' text to one person (If (s)he is in the game, and visable for you).
Gos <Text>              You 'say' text to everyone how is in the game.
Tell 'Casp mul' <Text>  You multi-tell, you tell more then one person the same text.
Clantalk                You talk to your clan. 
Grouptalk               You talk to your group.
Report                  You say how much hp, mana, movements and XP until next level you have.
Affect                  You see what you are affected with.
Help <Subject>          If available you get information about that subject.
Look 2.<Item>           You look at the 2e item in your inventory or in the room.

Regenerate Commands:
Sleep/Rest <Item>       You will regenerate (On a item like sleeping bag/table)
Eat <Item>              You eat the item.
Drink <Item>            You drink from a object in the room, or an item in your inventory
Fill <Item>             You fill the item with a liquid.
Pour <Item> out         You pour the liquid out of the item.
Quaf <Potion>           You use spell that's in the pottion
Zap <Wand>              You use the wand to cast a spell.
Heal                    At a healer you ask for the command list of a Healer. 

Affect                  You see the affects you are affected by
Remove from <Body part> You remove the equipment from that part of your body.
 
Look  <Container> You look at an object inside the container.
Look  on <Mob>    You look at an object on a character or mob.
Affect <mob>            You see what you have affected the mob with.

Grouping:
Follow <Character>      You start following that character.
Nofollow <Character>    You do not alow that character to follow you anymore.
Group <Character/all>   You group the charcter(s) that are following you.
Leader <Character>      You make that character leader of your/the group.
Affect <Pet>            You look at what affects are on your pet.
Order <Pet> <command>   You order the pet to do that command.
Config Auto Assist      You start/stop assisting groupmembers.

Extra commands, but not much used:
Brandish                You use the staff in your hand for a spell.
Recite <scroll>    You use the scroll to cast the spell that is on it.
Outfit                  Only for characters to level 5 : you get new equipment

Configuration
Alias <Name> <Command>  You make a (short) name for a command.
Unalias <Name>          You remove that alias
Config Prompt <newtext> You can make your own prompt.
Title <text>            You make your own title at the who list.

Skils used in combat:
Kick/Bash/Trip/Eyepoke/Disarm.

Reading and writing notes
unread                  You see what notes you have not read yet.
note/news/pen           You read the note, idea, bug, news or penalty.

The Templars helpers are mobs that you can interact with.
Those are:
Merlin and Galileo can tell the road to an area.
Use the area name and the magic word (please)
Like: say Can you please tell me the road to the sewer?
The higher your rank in our clan is, the more roads they are allowed to tell you.
For none Templars some times a Templar or Holyorder flag will help a bit (when he requests it)
Simon, guard of the templars knightschool.
If you doesn't let you through, then ask something like:
say May i please enter knight school ?
or wear an Templar flag.
Leonard, the tourguide inside the Templars clan:
The instructions are in the book in the Templars Church.
 
Other, less inter-active mobs:
Zelda, healer of the Templars.
She will kick you out of the room when you are evil.
Goldberg, shopkeeper.
Sir Lancelot, Guildmaster.
Trainingmachine, Machine experiment spells and skills at.
With surrender the machine stops.
The pit protector:Just don't sac, donate or try to get everything in the Templars Storage Room.
(If you do, then you can be kicked out of the room.)

About the Knight Templars Clan.
 
The Templars are a good aligned clan that accepts warriors, mages, and
clerics as members. We are based around The Knights of the Round Table,
and are rp and clan pk involved. Applicants must be level 10 or higher,
have AND maintain a +500 align or better, and desire to help clan
members and others in need. We use a strict Chain of Command and Honor
System, and those violating either will be dismissed from our ranks. We
are here to help, and must do everything in our power to do so, or die
trying.

PK Code of honour

PK stands for Player Killing, player killing player.
Fatal dimensions is basicly not a PK mud.
In only few rooms is made an exception to test our abilitys
with or against other players.
Most of the Templars choice to have a peacefull way of life,
but the once that do fight amongst other players, do that in a
honourble way.
Everyone is allowed to make their own agreements with pk-battles.
We mostly use those below.

PK Code of honour.
- The people that battle against each other agree with it.
- No potions, pills, scrolls or wands.
- No pets.
- No backstab/assisiate.
- Flee, recall, surrender or help from others means that you lost the fight.
- All items concured in the pk battle shall be give back to the owner.
- All other spells and skills are allowed.

With config pk you can enable/disable that you can be attacked by players.

Ancient Memories
Ancient memories are not extremely important,
but it remembers us who we are and where we stand for.

This is mainly our history:
The Knight Templars clan members are the knights of the round table.
The Templars represent everything that is good and honest.

We are the keepers of great knowledge.

There are 3 drawings of:

The Templars Portals in the Witch Chamber.

Enter an entrance of an energyfield and you go to Tower of Sorcery.
Enter warning sign and you go to Chaos Lands.
Enter a blue flame and you go to Keep of Mahn-Tor
Enter the circle on the floor and you disappear to the Tower of Sorcery. 
Climb on the broom and you fly to Olympus.
Enter the cross and you go to our chapel in Laputa.  
Jump in the cauldron with sulphur-fume and you end up in Decent of Hell. 
  
There are also two waterways on the Templars River to Village of the Gauls 
and Balnibardi/The Spike/Lagado.
 
But really, what do you need portals for, if you can ask at Galileo and Merlin
for directions?

There is a drawing of a declayed Triangle agreement

 
Since we are strong enough we do not need an agreement 
if we are online, But because we (the leaders) are not 
always online we can use it some day.

1. Triangle (BlackFlame, HolyOrder and the    
   Templars Clan) will protect members
   of the triangle against other clans or mortals who 
   are not member of our clans. 
   If the leader(s) of that member are not online,
   he/she will solve the problem first. 
2. If necessary we will repulse this/these aggressor(s).  
3. We will not break the rules of the Fataldimensions 
   to accomplish this. 4. Clans of the Triangle may not have an agreement with 
   other clans.
5. If a clan breaks or wants to break this agreement: 
   He/she notifies the other clans 
6. Everything what is not in this agreement will be 
   determent in a meeting with the leaders of the triangle.
