I have been longing for Berlin a long time. Now Transmediale provides the perfect alibi. Will meet Mirjam, Derek, Kerstin, Michael. And many others hopefully!
Arranged for a city bike from DB. Despite winter pause...

Travel by train. The perfect speed for landscape appreciation.
Heavvy doubts on taking powerbook or not. In the train it's a nice companion... Will they have power outlets for laptops in the ICE trains?? Or even WiFi? I doubt it...

My rental bike has a digital locking system, that's cool for sure :-)
WOW for technology..? I must remember to ask Mirjam for Urban Screens highlights in Berlin!

I travel lightly: one mini rucksack, and one shoulder bag! Besides that, a truckload of stuff in my coat and pants pockets of coarse ;-)
I take a video camera to record interesting things and actions.
Did so in Boston. Still have to edit it down to a consumable movie...
Maybe next, Brussels will be a third 'B' in a row?
