If you want contribute to the development of ChessMate, or just want to study its internals, you can download the source code of ChessMate here. If you fix bugs or make other improvements, I would appreciate it if send the changed files changes back to me. If I like what you did, I will incorporate these changes into ChessMate, and have your name listed in the credits.

To build ChessMate you will need some additional tools and libraries:

GFX Library, a library with functions for off-screen drawing;
Bmp2Gfx, converts bmp images to C code that can be used with the GFX library;
VTOS-SDK, the Software Development kit needed for developing Helio Applications.

With the exception of the VTOS-SDK, which is rather large, the necessary tools and libraries are included in the .zip file with the source code. The VT-OS SDK can be downloaded here.
