This site describes how I built a tube amplifier. Its design was found on the internet. Although I did some soldering before, this was my first experience in amplifier building.
After having built a pair of loudspeakers some time ago, I felt like building a tube amplifier. I discussed this with several people. Some of them asked me to let them know how the construction was done. Others came with ideas and tips. How I did the job is described on this site. I took many photos during the construction. I hope others feel stimulated to start construction as well.
For me, the attraction of a tube amplifier is the combination of high sonic qualities combined with a nice visual appearance. Both aspect were important during the construction activities.
